New employees who have questions about their job and benefits should contact their personnel office. General questions about the County may be directed to the County Public Information Office at (213) 974-1311. To assist new employees in getting an overview and a sense of belonging, the County began in 2006 providing them a copy of the Annual Report -- which spotlights accomplishments and objectives of each of the departments -- and a County pin. An orientation session is also provided.
