African-American Heritage Shared
Singing, poetry reading and a fashion show featuring traditional African attire highlight the annual observance of Black History Month on Feb. 25 at 11:30 a.m. in the Kenneth Hahn Hall of Administration. The public is invited to the free program featuring the talents of County employees.

   Cesar Chavez Community Service Week
In lieu of a holiday, County employees annually honor Cesar E. Chavez by volunteering for community service projects. Cesar Chavez Community Service Week in 2010 will be March 23-30.
