County of Los Angeles Commuter Benefit Plan (CBP) County of Los Angeles Commuter Benefit Plan (CBP)
The CBP allows employees to pay for eligible public transit expenses using pre-tax dollars (up to IRS limits). Employees can enjoy the convenience of online enrollment, automatic payroll deductions, and home delivery of transit passes.

Discount Computer Equipment Available to Employees
Significant discounts on selected computer equipment are available to County employees and their families. Available are desktops, laptops and tablet personal computers; monitors and laser printers.

Wellness Classes Offered
Free monthly lunchtime seminars are presented by the County’s medical and dental carriers and the CEO, Employee Assistance Program at the Kenneth Hahn Hall of Administration in Room B-62.

Pre-Retirement Workshops
Free half-day pre-retirement workshops assist employees choose the right retirement date, specific forms, health care, and compute retirement allowance. LACERA recommends attendance at a workshop five years before retirement and then again two years prior.
