There are 10 convention and visitors bureaus in Los Angeles County, promoting tourism, which is the County’s third largest industry. Los Angeles is a popular destination not only for its climate – average 70 degrees temperature year-round – but for its beautiful beaches, mountains and deserts. And it is has more than its share of tourist attractions – Hollywood, Rodeo Drive, Catalina Island, Aquarium of the Pacific, Raging Waters, Universal Studios, Magic Mountain, the Rose Parade, and the Los Angeles Zoo, to name just a few.

Metro Users Get Discount at Aquarium in Long Beach
Discounts will be provided for admission to the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach by showing a valid Metro pass, Metro Rail ticket or Destination Discount card. The promotion is effective through Dec. 31, 2010.

Public Can Attend Walk of Fame Ceremonies
Hollywood Walk of Fame Star ceremonies on Hollywood and Vine Boulevards are held throughout the year. For information on upcoming ceremonies, check the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce website.
