Workplace Programs

Workplace programs enhance employee productivity, charitable giving, rideshare options, volunteer opportunities, and involvement in community service projects. The Workplace Programs Office of the Chief Executive Office works with departments to promote these programs to their employees.


Highlights



Holiday Bean Bag Babies on Sale
Holiday Bean Bag Babies are now on sale in the County's Office of Workplace Programs. Each bean bag baby is $5, with $2 going to benefit the 2009 charitable-giving campaign.

County Night at L.A. Clippers Game
Sunday, Dec. 27 is County of Los Angeles Night at the L.A. Clippers game at Staples Center. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the County's charitable-giving campaign. Click on the attached flyer for ticket information.

New Edition of Workplace Connection
The November/December edition of the Workplace Connection is out. The publication is a bi-monthly newsletter for County employees that focuses on air quality, ridesharing, commuter and community service programs.

Vanpooling
Employees are encouraged to form independent vanpools with co-workers or near-by employees. The County promotes ridesharing as part of its strategy to reduce traffic congestion, air pollution and commuter costs.
