Smallest Dinosaur Named After Museum Trustee The Fruitadens haagarorum, the smallest North American dinosaur ever discovered, is named after Los Angeles County Natural History Museum Board of Trustees President Paul Haaga and his family. Several bones of the dinosaur, which weighed less than two pounds and was just 28 inches long, are now on display at the museum.
Deputies Receive Medals for Metrolink Crash Efforts Fifteen Los Angeles County Sheriff’s employees were honored Sept. 9 with the award of the Medal of Valor and Meritorious Conduct for their efforts in responding to the deadly crash involving a Metrolink train and Union Pacific freight train.
Assistant Public Defender Winston Peters Honored Assistant L.A. County Public Defender Winston A.
