Significant discounts on selected computers are available to County employees, their families, and public agencies.
The County and leading computer manufacturers have teamed up to offer discounts on selected new desktop, laptop, and tablet personal computers monitors and lasers printers.
These discounts were negotiated with manufacturers through a consolidated County purchase program involving multiple departments. The products consist of eleven standard personal computer configurations for desktops, laptops, and tablets; six standard monitor configurations; and nine standard laser printing configurations – black-and-white desktop, color desktop and multi-functional copiers.
Optional requirements such as deployment and installation and any required third-party software products are also available under the program.
Employees: No County financing or payroll deductions will be available under the program. Employees are solely responsible for the purchase and financing of equipment.
Public Agencies: Public agencies may purchase products or services under this program on the same terms, conditions and pricing as the County of Los Angeles, subject to any applicable local purchasing ordinances and the laws of the State of California. Cities, school districts and other public agencies within the geographic boundaries of Los Angeles County are eligible to use the contract for hardware and services. California agencies outside Los Angeles County boundaries are eligible to use the contract for hardware only.
